Blushing occurs when finishing with lacquer during humid conditions. The lacquer dries so fast that it traps moisture under the surface, turning the finish white. Kwick Kleen Lacquer Retarder slows the drying time to allow the moisture to escape. Add 1/2 ounce per quart of lacquer sealer or lacquer.
